An international financial consultant with a passion for writing, Frederic Larreur was born in Haiti. Growing up there, he saw prostitutes offering their services for a dollar and mothers giving their children to other families as servants. He saw a destitute people with no viable government to turn to for relief and flourishing businesses paying wages that barely allowed their employees to eat three times a day.

Scenes like these inspired him to write “Mangoes for Fools”.

Larreur is a winner of the prestigious Disney screenplay writing fellowship and a Certified Public Accountant. “Mangoes for Fools” is the first of a series of thrillers he is writing. In these thrillers he wants to explore the growing gap between a very wealthy few and the large number of super poor, the growing power of a few that is based on connection and not on merit and the organized corruption found in our elites everywhere.
